What’s up, y’all?

Every up and down I’ve ever had has felt like it’s been leading somewhere. Every rejection. Every opportunity.

It has been an interesting time in my music career. I feel like every new song I write is my new favorite song. I feel like writing and playing music is what I was born to do.

And this year has felt like the most I’ve grown while I’ve been alive.

Yesterday, I had the honor of playing at Eddie’s Attic. Throughout the night, the host Raul kept reminding us to keep coming back and that sometimes they get the winner wrong. I don’t agree or disagree but I believe God telling me to keep working hard and not give up.

So, I’m going to keep journeying forward. Stay tuned in to my adventure on here or my Instagram @perlizbeth_ where I’ll be posting what open mics I’ll be playing at. I would love to see y’all out there! I’m not sure where I’m headed but maybe we can find that out together.
